| Chaoshan Puppet Opera ¡¡¡¡Chinese Puppet Opera has a long history and various kinds including: thread-hanging puppet opera, thread-walking puppet opera, bastinado head puppet and bag puppet etc. ¡¡¡¡Chaoshan Puppet Opera was called as "Zhiying Opera" as well as Iron branch puppet. It is evolved from Fujian shadowgraph of Ming Dynasty. It is formed in Qing Dynasty. It is the rare kind in Chinese puppet art and the brilliant flower in Chaoshan folk opera art. ¡¡¡¡Puppets have wooden body, clay head, Chaozhou Embroidery dress. It is installed with iron pole and performed as the operator. The opear subjects, puppet decoration, sing dialect, music, even the stage decoration are the same to the Chaozhou Opera. The figure performance such as movement, Shui Xiu, even the fan, fighting are the same as the Chaozhou opera. So aome people called it "Miniature Chaozhou Opera". ¡¡¡¡The puppet performance of our spot is designed and manufactured, installed by Old Artist---Mr. Chen Qianhan. It is praised as the essence of Chaoshan Puppet Opera.
